The External Toggle is Kershaw's newest technology for securing a blade, and it offers a number of unique benefits. First, extreme security. Fold the blade in, engage the saftey lock, and the blade cannot be deployed. It's secure no matter how or where you carry it. The E.T. even takes advantage of this fact with its built-in carabiner function. The user can clip the E.T. to a belt loop so the knife's always handy. To top it off, the new E.T. also features a high-quality Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel blade with an open-architecture handle design of anodized aluminum for light weight.
