Unlike analog cameras, IP cameras can plug directly into your computer or DVR. They use an IP address to transmit video through a network using Ethernet/CAT5 cable. Since IP cameras can connect to any computer or existing network little to no additonal hardware is required, reducing your system cost. All of the IP cameras include set-up and viewing software. The included IP camera software will support up to 16 cameras. This IP camera can connect into a home or business network so you can login remotely (from any Internet connected PC) and view or playback video. You can also set-up email (or text messaging) to notify you when motion is detected.
