Motion Patrol instantly alerts you when someone comes up your driveway or sidewalk... or when someone heads out a door or into an area you designate! Simply place the transmitter near the entrance to your driveway and anything passing by the transmitter will cause the receiver to sound a pleasant chime or melody. The transmitter can also be placed by the front door to alert you if small children try to leave the house. Business owners can place the unit by the front door and be alerted when customers enter the store while working in the back.

It's weather resistant, installs easily with only a screwdriver, and only needs one 9 V and 3 C batteries (not included). The Motion Patrol detector unit may also be used with a D.C. 4.5 volt connector instead of batteries. The Transmitter should be installed at a height of three feet to avoid feedback errors from the ground.

When someone approaches, it sends a signal to alert you (up to 400 foot range*). This wireless alarm system employs advanced infrared motion detection technology. Use it to detect visitors, vehicles, intruders or kids coming and going. Use it anywhere in your home to monitor the mailbox, front door, garage or driveway.

The portable receiver can be set to chime high or low (or turned off). To switch the unit ON, Select Hi or Low volume settings. Please ensure to place the PIR sensor at least three feet high above the ground. Receiver must be used indoors.

*Installation Notes:

1) Whenever installing the PIR (Passive Infra-red Sensor) for the 1st time, the red LED on the PIR sensor will turn on for 60 seconds and the chime unit will sound for about 60 seconds. This is normal and needed in order to calibrate and stabilize the device.

2) In some instances the motion detector may be too sensitive and thus give false alarms. The best way to adjust this is to apply a small amount of masking tape to each side of the motion sensor window. Begin with an equal amount of masking tape on each side and then test the unit; continue adjusting until desired operation. Maintain at least a 1/8 inch opening for the sensor window.
